MAD poster book

Just unearthed this rare gem from under the organized chaos in my room. I bought this whole poster-book from Book XCess at Amcorp mall. The poster book has hillarious sketches of front covers printed for back issues of MAD magazine. Amongst others are Washington Cross Dressing the Delaware, The Last Supper involving mobile phones, and the Poop Scooper. This one here provides detailed instructions on how to help a choking victim in a restaurant. WTH! kinda hillarious

A detached retina

is a problem. Your eye will look like this. (illustration above)

<---Not like this

I rest my case.

Be still

Be still and know that I am God - that's like a direct quote from the Bible. Which is true. You get angst, restless and bored because you haven't taken the time to be still untill you can kill Bill.

Be still - how?
1. Reading
2. Sleeping
Its more like alone time without involving anyone else.

I'll try it and let you knw.

P1 wiggy

I got my wiggy today. It boasts 4G. I will try to be positive and look forward to receiving speed that will attract a summons. Ugh. Such is life.

Happy bananas

The mantra of 'an apple a day' should be changed to 'bananas..yummeh' instead. Who needs a doctor when you have those yellow skinned grouped in a comb thingies. I don't mean the chinese. Don't even get me started on that one.

According to Dr Caroline Longmore, author of The Serotonin Secret, 'eat a banana, get happy'. Bananas boost your body's serotonin levels because they are rich in amino acid tryptophan. If that sounded foreign to you, that's probably cause you're an arts student. Amazing how you've come this far.

The only downside to this entire banana endeavour is the fact that when eating a banana, you appear to be inserting a penis shaped food article into your mouth. Not appetising in a sensual way.

That aside, if you wanna be happy, let down your hair and go bananas!

March beckons

A trip to the world's biggest island. I'm already feeling marooned.

Winning mortal moment

Office space

I've begun a new chapter of my life. I've moved to a new, smaller, rat infested but sweet firm. My colleagues are nice, the work is ok, the hours are awesome. I am able to indulge in so many other activities. I have time. A resource I was once deprived of.

I think I'll stay. I like the teamwork here. The sense of respect for my input into briefs. I'm treated like a person. I have life, liberty and the opportunity to pursue happiness.
